Enthusiastic review of the AOC C27G2ZU by Mike's Unboxing (UK)

Mike’s unboxing, reviews and how to, a YouTuber from the UK with 63K subscribers, focused on hardware reviews, recently published an 11-minute video review of the AOC C27G2ZU on his channel.

    + Fantastic colour reproduction

    + Absolutely stellar viewing angles

    + 1500R curve

+ 240 Hz refresh rate (makes a real difference and improved my gameplay)

    + 0.5 ms MPRT

+ AMD FreeSync Premium with 48-240 Hz VRR range

+ 3-sides frameless design, suited for multi-monitor setup

    + Dial Point (crosshair overlay)

+ G-Menu (the tester showed the i-Menu, however)

    + 4-port USB 3.2 hub, 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DP 1.4

+ Deep blacks and high contrast, watching movies on this screen is an absolute joy, as with gaming

    + 6 different presets

+ No smearing or ghosting noticeable with the UFO test

    + Shadow Control

    + Height-adjustable stand

    + Speakers are perfectly fine

    - Only 1080p, but in practice, perfectly acceptable

    - OSD Buttons are not easily readable and hard to navigate

Verdict: „I’m actually seriously considering buying one of these even though that is counterproductive to what we actually do here at Mike’s Unboxing. Generally I would try and buy something different just to obviously compare with and also produce more content. But this is one of those situations where it has actually changed my mind in many ways. I didn’t think 1080p was suitable for 27-inch and yes, it’s obliterated that idea and the thought of actually buying something which I’ve just reviewed basically for free goes against the green especially those who know me and my budget nature. I’m actually seriously considering buying one of these after this has gone back. I do like it that much. There is a slight downside which some of you who remember me saying before, and that is the fact that we have these red accents.“
