Amazing grades for the AOC AGON AG273QXP @ PC Games Hardware (DACH)

PC Games Hardware, a German print and online magazine focused on hardware, related to the renowned PC Games magazine, recently published an article covering 9 WQHD high-refresh rate monitors and included a short review of the AOC AGON AG273QXP

    + Low response times

    + Good OSD

    - Low contrast ratio

Verdict: “The AOC Agon AG273QXP boasts an IPS panel with WQHD resolution, 27 inches and up to 170 Hz. The panel delivers good colour fidelity with a low Delta E of 3 on average and a colour space coverage of 101% of the AdobeRGB colour space. With a respectable maximum brightness of just under 400 cd/m², the monitor only manages a somewhat below-average contrast of 803:1. In any case, the monitor's input lag is pleasantly low at less than one frame delay and the average response time of 4.3 milliseconds is also an expected value for such a fast IPS panel. Accordingly, no streaks can be detected, which leads to a sharp image in motion. Unfortunately, at around 480 euros, the monitor is currently a little more expensive than the other 27-inch monitors in the test field. The AOC Agon AG273QXP is a good monitor with few blemishes, but it can only score points with the price, which it can't do with the competition, at least not yet.”
