OGA Counter PIT – the finals are upon us!

We’re proud to return to the world’s premier FPS esports title. After a short hiatus OGA Counter PIT is back to shake up the Tier 2 scene alongside AOC as the official partner for state of the art, esports-ready displays.

From January 29th to February 9th, eight professional CS:GO teams from all over Europe will battle it out for a grand prize of $20,000 and the title of ‘OGA Counter PIT Champions’.

    The teams taking part are:

    • Chaos
    • DreamEaters
    • expert eSport
    • Nemiga
    • Ronin Horde
    • SuperJymy
    • Team Unique
    • x-kom Team

This represents an important step in solidifying the Tier 2 environment for CS:GO, providing the teams with an opportunity to showcase their extraordinary talents to a wider audience. To ensure that the best team wins and maintains the true spirit of competitive integrity, all matches are played in a best-of-three format that features a double elimination bracket. Undeserved upsets and randomness should not be a factor.

The competition kicked off in January (29th and 30th) with the four initial quarter final matches. The tournament continued with daily matches in the same timeslot from February 4th to February 7th. Come the 8th and 9th of February, both the Lower Bracket Finals (Chaos vs. Team Unique) and the Grand Finals (DreamEaters vs TBD) will be taking place. Here the best teams in the tournament will face off against each other in order to determine the undisputed champion. Check out the action live on Twitch.
