Customers’ safety comes first
The health and safety of our customers is AOC’s highest priority. Therefore, all our products are subjected to the strictest tests.
Naturally, all AOC products that are being sold in Europe fulfil the standards and regulations required by European law, such as CE and RoHS and also requirements defined by individual countries. Nonetheless, AOC doesn’t stop there, but makes additional efforts to ensure that health risks are eliminated and customers have the best user experience.
Special safety regulations
The CE (Conformité Européenne or European Conformity) certification indicates that our monitors comply with the health, safety and environmental protection standards determined for products sold within the European Economic Area. Among them are the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC) 2014/30/EU and Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU.
On a voluntary basis, we cooperate with TÜV Rheinland, a national certification body (NCB) to act as an independent third party that checks that our electrotechnical products comply with the applicable and published IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards.
Depending on the model, we also offer additional safety marks certified by TÜV Rheinland like the GS Mark (German Product Safety Act – ProdSG) and the Bauart Mark. These safety marks are a valuable aid in purchasing decisions and increase existing and prospective customers' trust and confidence in our products as they are visible proof that products have been certified to meet strict quality and safety requirements.
Special health and environmental regulation
The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) defines the restriction of the use of certain hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment. Naturally, all our monitors comply with this regulation.
For ergonomics and well being while working with our monitors, we offer ISO 9241-307 certification issued by TÜV Rheinland which regulates the analysis and compliance test methods for electronic visual displays.
