"Impressive gaming monitor " for AOC AG353UCG @ totallydubbedHD

totallydubbedHD, a YouTuber/influencer from the UK focussed on tech reviews and guides has just published one of the first UK reviews of the AOC AG353UCG on his channel.

The tester is especially impressed with the HDR capabilities and the FALD technology, as well as its good casual gaming experience thanks to its 200 Hz refresh rate, G-Sync, and decent responsiveness. However, he underlined that at this price point, he had expected a lower input lag, no fan noise, and better responsiveness.

„Well, to be quite honest this monitor does have a lot of positives and it's quite unique, very much like the Asus monitor, at least on paper. So in other word it's got HDR 1000, it's an ultra-wide with 200 Hz refresh rate, it's also got G-Sync built in, and has got a lot of cool little features that allow you to have a really good casual gaming experience. However for 2000 pounds, I would've expected a little bit better. I would have expected a more responsive screen with a slightly lower input lag, somewhat like the LG and moreso I would have expected a monitor that wouldn't have a fan that would be pretty annoying at relatively low volumes. In other words if I wanted to just to be on a desktop, I wouldn't expect to hear the fan in the background. So, this is the issue, it's 2000 pounds, it's not cheap and it isn't perfect and it isn't for everyone, it's not for competitive gamers. So it's really up to you guys to decide to see if it's worth it.“
