Review: A stylish Duo - the AOC GM500 and AOC AMM700 @ Mike's Unboxing (UK)

Mike’s unboxing, reviews and how to, a YouTuber from the UK with 63K subscribers, focused on hardware reviews, recently published an 18-minute video review of the AOC GM500 mouse on his channel. The tester also showcased the RGB synchronisation with the AOC AMM700 mouse pad.

    + Fantastic price

+ Light FX Sync for RGB synchronization between AOC products

    + Comprehensive G-Tools software

    + Two-year warranty

+ Nice satin finish, nice and grippy

+ 8 customisable buttons including DPI selector

    + Ambidextrous design

    - Somewhat weighty (140-150 gr) compared to more twitchy-FPS-style mice

Verdict: „It tracks absolutely amazingly on this mousepad (AMM700), it really does, it’s so buttery smooth it’s ridiculous. […] Great sensor, great feel. […] It’s a heavyweight mouse, I personally prefer that, so I’m going to take as positive but obviously on the negative side, it may be something which may put you off. […] I think for most regular people that play games and use their PC for other things such as email, internet, productivity tasks, that kind of thing… If you want a gaming mouse which has got a gaming pedigree with that Pixart sensor, but you also want to use it a s your daily driver and don’t want it to be too over the top, I think for me, personally, this looks stylish. […] The RGB is quite muted. I’m finding it extremely hard to find a fault other than the fact that it’s got a bit of weight to it.“
